The Picture

So, some people have been wondering what I look like now, and yeah I am not really fond of pictures but I guess I will post one up. This picture was just 2 weeks ago when my best Friend Kelly came down to visit me from Michigan. It was so great to see her and her boyfriend Tom again!

So Doug and I have 2 more days before we are offically parents, we will have a little one in our hands Friday morning after 8am. I am sure we will both have our cell phones on so you can give us a call or stop by the Hospital and see the little one for yourselves.

I will post pictures when we get home from the Hospital so everyone can see how precious our little daugher is.

The Big Day!

So I had my doctor's appointment yesterday and everything is still going good. I have people at work asking me all the time how long I am working till. I don't understand why you would want to take off time before work and sit around the house and do nothing. So I have been telling everyone I am working up until I have the baby, why wouldn't I? I get to spend more time with her if I wait until she is born.

Anyway I just wanted to let everyone know that if you haven't heard already I am scheduled to have a C-section May 2nd at 8am. Some of you may be wondering why. Well the reason is Doug and I and my ear specialist and my OBYGN have been talking about this for several months now and my ear specialist believes that severe pushing of the child could result in some more hearing lost for me. So he recommended having the c-section done so I wouldn't have to worry about having to have ear surgery done after I delivered the child.

So 3 more weeks, that is if she doesn't come early.

Baby room

Everyone has been asking me to post a new blog since I finally got the bedding for the baby's room. So here it is.
So not a whole lot going on here just trying to get things organized in the baby room, which I am accomplishing but still overwhelming because not sure where exactly I want everything yet. Knowing me, I am sure I will change things around or reorganize things once the baby gets here.
Doug and I are both anxious for her to arrive and be here with us. I know it will be a life changing experience and I am looking forward to it.
